It didn't come with a book. Also there's no plug to plug it in. The guy I bought it from on marketplace said he would email it but I never got the email.

the best experience i've had with mine is roasting onions and tomatoes in it together, doused in vegetable oil and salt. i just left it on for like an hour and they came out so good it's absurd. i could almost just eat those on their own now.

For me, its the chickpea! (I moved on to using dried chickpeas and soaking them overnight for 24 hours before slow cooking them for 8 hours.

every time you see an airfryer at someone's home you can tell immediately that they're extremely low IQ

what makes the ownership of an air fryer indicative of having a low iq?

it's a useless waste of space for lazy retards that fall for the dumbest marketing speech (usually women)

>> No.18671875

even the term air fryer is laughable. it's just a mini oven. something you already have but smaller while still taking up plenty of space for no reason and looking ugly

>> No.18672011

Actually a mini convection oven.
The reasonable and smart version to own is the air fryer/toaster oven/mini oven combo.
I don't own/use a microwave, nor toaster, so it's only taking up what would be that real estate. I hardly use the large oven anymore, except for large items, saving on electric bills.
Making fresh French fries is great, Corndogs, breaded vegetables, baking a couple potatoes.
These single use, oversized air fryers are weak though.

I'm sensing a lot of air fryer hate here on ck.
it's too bad they fear the countertop cookery.

>> No.18673287

it's unhealthy if you cook certain shit in it, I think, usually things that are both high in protein and fat, which triggers a chemical reaction that makes the food toxic

otherwise you should be good to go, and yeah I don't get the hate, I'm not a chef I just want passable food I can make quickly I'm a busy guy

so chicken wings wrapped in bacon should be ok?

I want to try water chestnuts, shrimp, dates, scallops, etc wrapped in bacon in the air fryer once I get it.

I mainly used mine for reheating leftovers, especially fried leftovers.

When I reheat fried chicken in it, it's practically as good as it was before.
