Not anime, but I recreated Yeto's Superb stew from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princes.
Started by cooking down some carrots and onion, then added like 8oz goat cheese and a can of pumpkin puree. Dilute with chicken stock to desired consistency and season with salt, pepper, coriander, cumin, and a bay leaf.
Once everything is back up to a simmer, add some halibut and simmer for additional 15 minutes.
Turned out delicious, especially on a cold winter day!
I realize that the fish in-game looks more like a salmon, but I tried that and the halibut definitely works better in this dish.

Ive tried, and even with freshly steamed rice, no it fucking DOESNT. The fuckin white of the egg might cook a TINY bit (slightl milky whiteness, but barely), b ut it is not cooked.
