the amy’s brand is a little pricey but the quality is great and all are very tasty. I like these cheese enchilada because the sauce which is very authentic, surprisingly. I have only tried the Spanish/Mexican dishes but would expect the asian are also good and authentic. I usually have at least one in the freezer for those days I don’t want to cook.

this is a favorite, although not frozen. Can be found next to cheese at stator bothers. I prefer the four cheese tortolini and will use bertonelli pesto (in a glass jar, not the ‘fresh’ one next to these), because the flavor is ‘delicate’ and a tomato sauce is over powering the pasta. The pesto in a jar is a little more flavorful than the fresh pesto, the spinach and chicken ones are good too. Easy and quick, boil pasta for 7 minutes, add pesto, and done. I do add grated Parmesan cheese and a packet of red chilies I get when I buy pizza.

when my wife travels for work, I always buy the smaller package and get two meals out of it and have narrowed it down to one pot for boiling, one spoon, one bowl, and one fork. perfect for my lazy ass

i think i had this once? the pizza had very small holes in the bottom (assuming to let it cook more evenly?) and the oil or cheese or something would leak out of it onto the bottom of the oven & make it smoke like hell.

which really is too bad because as far as frozen pizza goes, it was the best I ever had.

looks good. never seen that brand, normally only shop at stator brothers and they don’t carry these. They did start carrying three new brands and haven’t had a chance to try any yet. I am not normally a white sauce kind of guy but it does look tasty and will keep my eye out for the brand. Stators is getting expensive (but still cheap compared to Albertsons, Ralph’s, etc) and went to window last week (saved a shit load of money) and plan on going back and they might have this brand. Only reason I don’t go their normally is it is about 4x as far from home.
When I did go last week, used self check out and the ‘monitor’ gave me a hard time for buying 20 items when the sign shows ‘about 15 items’ then she accused me of not paying for a 10 cent bag.

been by paying these for awhile now. Precooked meat which is reasonably authentic, but never tried their rice or beans. I get at least four, maybe six meals out of it (2 to 3 days for me and wife).
I do not eat red meat but can say the carnitas and chile verde are very good, the chile verde sauce could be a little thicker and have a little mor tomatillo for my tastes. Use to be 7 per pack, now about 13, but still a good value.
normally buy cilantro, onion, cotija cheese, the carnitas or chile verde and have a tasty fulfilling meal on the cheap and easy and quick to make.
the al pastor ‘taco kit’ that have is good, but could use some pineapple. I added some leftover pineapple to it and a dash of orange juice and made it about an 9/10, compared to 7/10 as purchased.

similar to this, there is a jack daniels pulled pork (found next to the del real, at least at stator brothers) and the pulled pork makes a tasty sandwich when put on generic hamburger bun. so far, only have made pulled pork / hamburger bun sandwiches. Not sure how else to prepare. When I do have it, always think a good coke slaw would be the perfect complement. These types of meals are super quick and easy to make with minimal cleanup, and a tasty meal, at a low cost.
