The black one literally has 0 flavor. Why would people spend twice as much money to get it?

Shin is my recommendation for people that haven't had decent packaged ramen. Its a good base to add ingredients.
I can't wrap my head around why people choose maruchan cup o noodles, basic bitch nissin, top ramen, etc...
My go-to instant noodles:
>paldo namja
>paldo teumsae
>paldo jjajang
>ottogi sesame (the one with the egg block)
>original, cheese, or mala peppercorn samyang buldak
There's a myriad of others. Used to work 3rd shift near a Korean grocery store which, like most of them, have an entire aisle dedicated to ramen. I didn't have access to anything but a microwave at work so I'd have ramen on a regular basis.

Worst kind I found was paldo bibimmen. Cold noodle that tastes like apples and a weird chili. I don't like cold noodles to begin with tho.

they are some of the best you can get outside of Korea Japan and Taiwan. I loved getting these but it is impossible to find here.

Alternatively do what I do use much less water, any instant noodles i make I use the bare minimum of water so its more like a sauce and concentrated

The only reason to go with anything else is price. If you don't have a choice and HAVE to get the .30 cent noodles, fine.
