Is it safe to eat food that has set out for an entire day?

>> No.18641962

99% of the time absolutely fucking not

>> No.18641971

depends on what it is. milk or heavily dairy based? i wouldnt. nuts? of course. personally ive left cooked meat out overnight and ate it the next day without any issues, but it's probably not safe

>> No.18641972

depends
what is it?
how hot is it?
was it covered?
where did you find/snatch it?
and so on...

I ate rice yesterday that's been sitting out for 4 days. If it doesn't smell off it's probably going to be ok.

Okay so I had a roomate in college that would order 7 pizzas on a Friday. We were in the dorms and had no frige...I kid you not this guy would eat one pizza a day and they would sit out the entire time until they were gone.

Motherfucker did this all year long and never once got food poisoning.

Cats that go out for the day are likely to catch toxoplasmosis so I would recommend only eating indoor ones.

Rice is one of the things that's not ok to eat if it's been sitting out. Hope you don't eat it anon.
