I've stopped buying instant. $3.50 (AUD) for 1kg of dry noodles that makes ~20 servings and $4.50 for a can of vegeta that can make 100 servings, same cost as two of the 5 packs of the decent instant noodles and doesn't have as much weird shit in it. Today I made the stock from some left over roast chicken bones so I didn't even need to use the vegeta, add the chicken at the end, had a few dim sims. Wonderful.
