There's no question that beef, chicken and pork are the big three as far as meats are concerned.

But despite being cattle like the aforementioned, lamb isn't as common. In fact it's about as common as venison, duck and rabbit.

Why don't you buy lamb as often as the other?

It’s dirt cheap around here. I can get 4 lamb breasts for $5.

Because we don't live on a fucking island the size of maine, faggot.

It's hard to find where I live, and expensive in the places that I can buy it.
I'd get it more often if it were more convenient, but at the end of the day I just want affordable protein.

Expensive as fuck even though we have 5:1 Sheep to Human ratio.

In America, cattle ranchers during the 1800s fixed the market fixed the market and drove off all the sheep ranchers.

because you mostly get it at wholesalers or speciality shops, and its rather expensive. i did buy some discounted lamb leg last week at my local grocer though, and it was delicous. i wish it was more common, and affordable

i love lamb but here in florida it's too expensive to buy regularly. i buy a rack for me and the girl every now and then when i'm in the mood for it. it's good shit, if it was the same price as beef i'd buy it more regularly

It's more expensive, but when I get a farm I'm going to raise sheep isntead of cows so I can have meat and dairy but the arguably superior versions.

I don't think so.
While I think it's good, it's quite strongly flavoured, making it a controversial choice to people who are unaccustomed to things having any sort of flavour IE Anglos, Slavs, North Europeans and their daughter cultures.

>Anglos
Brits love lamb.
>North Europeans
Norwegians along the coast love lamb.

Ever have British "lamb?" It's practically flavourless. Idk how tf they manage to raise such unlamb-y lamb, but they do.
>norwegians
Icelanders, too, akshully, but even so, many find it distasteful and even those two countries, there is no shortage of people who hate its taste.

balkan slavs love lamb, it's usually spit roasted over an open fire, it's probably rare for other slavs though
