Never use ceramic pans with eggs. Egg yolks contain a molecule which slowly breaks down the ceramic at high temperatures which releases toxic particles. Probably not going to kill you in reasonable doses but best to avoid it.

I got a teflon pan recently
I mostly use stainless steel pans but this teflon is pretty good
I like frying up bacon and 2-3 eggs per meal so a larger one is good but not the size of a full sized skillet

Cast iron is genuinely not a meme. They usually come preseasoned but seasoning is really easy. Don't be freaked out and just get one. Just don't try to move the egg until it has got a bit crisp and nothing will stick.
