I bought like 6 frozen turkeys a couple weeks ago. Enough to last my family through the new year.
Turkeys are gonna be sold out very soon, if they aren't already, and retards are gonna start scrambling and getting desperate.

I’m just going to cook some baby back ribs in the oven with some fresh cut potato wedges with my bitch. I moved out to a new state and would actually love the opportunity to cook for a crowd of people but I’m content for now.

i'm not. i will eat snacks on thanksgiving, which is often all i eat these days. i've never really experienced any noticeable bodily conditions from eating snacks*. yes, indeed. if i was cooking this year, and i did used to cook every once in a while, i would cook stuffing since it's delicious, and i would avoid meat.

*although, i have had mental strain, so i do eat fruits and vegetables every once in a while

I haven't gotten one yet because I'm trying to find one at a reasonable price without that 'hurr durr spend $400 and get a """"""""free"""""""" turkey' bullshit.
Best I can find is either $21 off a $30 turkey if you spend $50 at Grocery Outlet or 49c/lb if you spend $100 at Fresh Grocer. All turkeys at GrossOut, regardless of size, are priced at $30 and they average 15ish lbs but GrossOut doesn't really have much I buy or eat. I've never spent more than $20 there at a time. FG, on the other hand, is your typical supermarket but I think the $100 can't be spent on paper goods our cleaning supplies and we don't need $100 worth of other groceries.
I may cave and just get a $1/lb turkey somewhere next week before Thanksgiving if I can get a very small one.

>>18575954
Roast turkey breast, bread dressing, either purple cauliflower mash thickened with potato flake, blue mashed potato or blue cabbage mashed potato, cranberry sauce, butter-braised corn (or preferably baby corn), garlic-carrots and either kale or collards with home-smoked turkey wings (or bacon if I wind up buying breast only), triple layer blue jell-o (like pic related, only blue) for dessert.

>I may cave and just get a $1/lb turkey somewhere next week before Thanksgiving if I can get a very small one.
My favorite store (Giant Eagle) has turkeys for .59/lb if you have their card. I go for the smaller ones (14-15) lbs. but you could always just get a whole turkey breast.

I mentioned this in the depressing meals thread, but I saw yuppies and old people buying the single-serving store-made TG dinners when I lived in Manhattan. The yuppies I can understand. Too busy to get back home for the holiday, but not the old people. That was very, very sad to me. Poor old ladies ain't got no one to share a meal with. : (

So I was talking this with the babymomma and she suggested we either just buy turkey drumsticks so she can "brown stew" them (some Trinidadian thing she makes; it's basically a brown curry) or take one of the PSMOs or lamb's legs out of the freezer and I'll roast that instead.
I'm weighing all three alternatives, but fuck me, I want turkey titty and I think she does, too, despite her suggestions otherwise.

>>18585521
That's just uncut prime rib, right?

>>18584753
Babymomma is black IE not white at all (except for her credit score) and though I look white, I'm not quite white (dad's half Asian) so it's not like only white people have Thanksgiving dinner.
Also, I have a native ex (Cherokee and Lumbee) who joked that white people get Thanksgiving all wrong cuz the Wampanoag meant it as a going away party but the whites just didn't take the hint.

>celebrating murder of natives
That specific group of Englishmen that landed had a mutual aid treaty with the Wampanoag for 50 years and had a 3 day feast to celebrate the harvest after the Injuns taught them about New World crops. Murder did happen, but this wasn't about that
