I've tried it once. Didn't hate it, but I don't go to McDonald's to eat a croque monsieur.
I always get a Royal Deluxe when it's on the menu though (another France only item, I think).

In addition to these we also have frozen slushes from fanta flavours no-one else has (orange, rapsberry, blueberry, we have sprite as well. The mccafe was also invented here but I don't know if anything on the menu is specifically Australian, they have a coffee + chai + wattleseed iced drink which probably is since I've never heard of anyone using wattleseed outside Australia.

When I lived in Australia, they literally had GOAT McDonalds, like burgers were genuinely restaurant quality.
They had also these McDonalds that weren't branded as McDonalds and were more like a McDonalds Subway, but were in reality McDonalds

Super tasty beef patty, two scuades one similar to mayo and one like a smoeky bbq sauce.

The best one I had in HK was the Shake Shake Fries in the 90s. They had a nori flavored one I looked forward to so much when I was a kid. That and the McPepper.

Going to McDonald's was never boring at least, always something new to try. But the fast/cheap food market is really competitive over there, which is probably why they'd come up with so many different things. Kind of like how snacks and vending machines are in Japan.

Are you searching for each of these or do you have a folder? I'm really enjoying these posts, reminds me of going to McDonald's before going to the cybercafé and then getting some chill oil laced siu mai on the way home back in the 2000s.

in hawaii we got the local deluxe platter for breakfast. just spam, portugese sausage, rice and egg. pretty fuckin good honestly but you could make at home just as easy.

we also still have fried apple pies while mainland has the cucked baked ones
