I only ever got the gravlax plate. Pretty good for cheap cafeteria food.

Nig girls can be cute, it's just super uncommon. Thankfully, I'm not a /pol/tard to think otherwise.

Yes, because IKEA is not making money off the food. It's just there to attract furniture customers.

I had some of their meatballs, years ago.
Pretty tasty.
Turns out they were using horse meat (and lying about it).
Not sure I'd trust them in any sense any more, despite how tasty their horse-meat meatballs were.

So they ARE (indirectly) making money off the food?

Still not hearing anything about my two points.
Let's try again:
What are your credentials? Are you a purchasing agent for IKEA? Is there any documentation about what they're spending vs their sale price?
Second point: If it's a successful loss leader, it's a profitable choice for them. You might as well call the building lease cost a "loss", even though it's got to be justified by the profit from furniture sales.

>> No.18538799

>>18538764
You don't need to be a purchasing agent for IKEA or some kind of genious to realize that you can't run any successful restaurant at those prices.
The restaurants are there just to get people to buy more furniture.

So....
a) You're guessing at the profit margin...
- and -
b) You SEEM to agree with me about the loss leader aspect of their food, but somehow still act like I'm wrong, somehow?

I go once or twice a year specifically to eat their food and walk through the showroom. I have a relative who comes to visit me and they usually want to go shopping there to take stuff back home. I like their horse meatballs a lot and the salmon. I also get stuff from the grocery section while I'm there. So I approve.

>> No.18538880

>>18538823
I'm not guessing anything about profit margins. I know it is absolutely impossible to to run a restaurant with those prices.
If you put a restaurant like that with those prices outside the furniture store it would go bankrupt in just couple months

It's all in your head. People would just assume it's a gift for someone. Don't feel bad, humans only started sleeping alone in the last 200 years or so, and that's usually only in the west. It's kind of unnatural if you think about it.
