I feel bad for foodtubers that rely on eating for their content, whether it's fast food reviewers, eating contest challengers, etc. Even if they try to make eating and/or traveling so much seem fun, it seems like it tears away at their health, and they can't stop because their business relies on them doing so.

I remember watching some guy do a food challenge at some shithole English cafe, pretending that eating with his hands was just something he does in challenges. In reality he was getting as much grease and sauce on his hands as possible then wiping it off onto a mountain of tissue. Since then I've blocked every food challenge channel on youtube.

Nice trips. Is that true that he has a crew? One thing I will say, his videos used to be great, I liked watching him lament about life, eating with Korean qt3.14s, talking about his haunted barn at NY residence. But ever since he got married, his videos absolutely SUCK. At the beginning he kept showing Christine and asking her what she thought of the food, thank fuck he stopped that. Compare to Wiens who doesn't push his wife in front of the camera. Mikey's views have plummeted accordingly.

I like him, but he’s just another one of these uneducated foodtubers. None of them have backgrounds in food or cooking, most of them can’t even cook, and yet they’re giving their opinions like they’re some kind of authority on the subject. It’s fun to watch their travels and see the foods they try and hear their thoughts, but I don’t really put much value in their opinions. It’s the cult followings they get that I dislike though, the fact that people do view these people as experts. The worst of all is probably David Portnoy and one bite pizza reviews, yeah it’s fun to watch, but the fact these guys can make or break a restaurant based on their reviews is absurd.
