I have a bottle of the meheecan coke every now and then, usually in the summer when i put stuff on the grill, but I cant drink soda regularly. It makes my teeth hurt and makes me feel sick if I have too much of it. Sometimes I cant even finish a bottle of meheecan coke and Ill dump it in a little bowl and let the bees have it

Soda makes you feel like shit, more at 11. The only soda I really like is vanilla coke, and I can only stomach 1 or 2 cans a day for about a week then need to take a break for like 3 months before getting another pack.

its an acidic drink, so you are technically melting stuff off your teeth when you swirl it around your mouth. the problem is what comes after with the acid slowly making holes in your teeth and then stuff moving in to live in there and create cavities. Personally, i usually chase soda with water to wash it off and so far I havent had any problems with my teeth.

2 cans is only 300 calories. That on its own is practically nothing. Most people who drink 2+ cans a day have disgusting eating habits for the rest of their diet. Any time I hear someone say "all I did was cut out soda and lost 30lbs!" I shudder to think how much they must have been drinking. It's either that or they also unconsciously altered the rest of their diet on top of cutting soda.

It's even worse with beer, which is about the same calories per can. People who are fat just because of beer are fucking garbage. I can't understand it.

It's probably less that you're diabetic or prediabetic and more that you're suggestible.
Coke definitely doesn't dehydrate or cause dry mouth normally, but that's the sort of thing someone who read once that caffeine can be dehydrating in large enough doses might have accidentally memed themselves into expecting a long time ago and therefore experiencing ever since.
In reality, Coke is about as hydrating as plain water. Not enough caffeine for the amount of water Coke contains to be otherwise. Alcohol on the other hand is an actually dehydrating class of drinks.

Or, it's that coke a shit, soda a shit, HFCS a shit. I can drink dew, pepper, sierra mist, all without any issues (but don't, because I've largely stopped drinking soda since I stopped drinking liquor) but coke and other colas give me that dry mouth-like feeling.

>Or, it's that coke a shit, soda a shit, HFCS a shit.
Nah, pretty sure you're just suggestible since neither Coke nor soda in general has the effect of drying out your mouth in normal people.
Either that or prediabetes, but being suggestible would make the most sense since you can definitely learn to expect something like dry mouth and meme yourself into experiencing it.
In fact the classic experiment on the power of suggestion involved a very similar case in the opposite direction of getting dogs to salivate by ringing a bell in the absence of actual food.

Yeah, cans taste better, glass bottles are second, and plastic are third. But I still prefer plastic bottles (20 oz) for at home soda purposes because I don't normally down an entire 12 ounce can's worth all at once and like having the ability to reseal the container.
More than 20 ounces is too much and starts to lose quality from sitting out too long, but less than 20 ounces gets to be somewhat unsatisfying with how quickly it's done.
And of course paper cups from fountains are absolute worst in all respects.

After giving up corn syrup laden drinks period, the very idea of going back to a soda disgusts me. It's all goyslop in the end, designed to make us stupid and complacent and sick, so the government can keep us in traction forever. Make us diabetic due to the expensive sugary soda, so they can sell us expensive medication on a lifetime subscription.
