Rum is honestly the only spirit which seems impossible for me to enjoy.
I can’t think of any other type where I haven’t managed to find at least a few brands or cocktails I like, but I’ve yet to find a rum I enjoy on its own, and I’ve yet to find a drink I enjoy it in.

I’ve resigned myself to being an eternal rumlet. But at least I can drown my rumlet sorrow in anything that’s not rum.

1 shot white rum
1 shot dark rum
1/2 shot aged/funky rum
Half fill with pineapple juice
Top up with orange juice
Dash grenadine
Juice of half a lime
Dash orgeat (optional)
