Why is RedBull so popular In the drink industry? So many alcohol stores have It for sale, It doesn't even taste that good In a cocktail

They don't taste the same at all and redbull has the best taste.

Also there's a whole generation raised on jaegerbombs and rbvs for whom a night on town is synonymous with red bull. What associations do do people have with other energy drinks? Playing halo alone?

For the same reason why cheap vodka is popular. it's somewhat palatable, it gets the job done, and it doesn't burn a hole in your pocket. Nobody buys redbull to enjoy the taste, they buy it so they can chug it really quick and keep the party going.

I prefer Red Bull over most other energy drinks because Red Bull just uses sugar as its sweetener, while all the other common brands also toss in assorted artificial sweeteners. Artificial sweeteners all taste god-awful to me, so I avoid. Anyone have reccomendations for other energy drinks that just use sugar?

Producing the can costs more than the product it contains. That's all you need to know about Red Bull.

>> No.18380573

The same can be said for most bottles of water, what's your point?

>> No.18380610

>>18380573
The point is that Red Bull is sold probably at a 20 times (waay to lazy to actually look it up) higher price than water, dimwit. The small cans are much more expensive to produce than standard size. They could sell standard cans at the same price and actually make *more* profit. So why do they do the small cans? Because it makes morons like you think the small can means the stuff is of high value.
It's about 5 cents of ingredients. The can is 10 cents.

TL;DR If you buy this stuff you're an idiot.

>> No.18380657

>>18380610
This argument kinda falls flat considering that Red Bull has been offering 355 and 473ml cans for years at this point. For what it's worth coke is also pushing 250ml cans hard as well, possibly as a result of shrinkflation. At the end of the day what matters is the price per L/gallon. Red Bull is indeed more expensive than other brands in the 250ml format, but the 473 cans are ironically less expensive per liter.

tl;dr your argument falls flat since the 473ml cans are cheaper per liter than other brands
