I remember when this thing came out in the mid-00's, around the same time as the Frescata sandwiches (which I also miss - being able to get a deli sandwich in a drive-thru was pretty nice), and it became just about the only thing I ever got at Wendy's... until it was killed off. I seem to recall them resurrecting it in a couple of different forms since then, but never permanently.

What are some less-well-known fast foods that you miss? I mean stuff like the McD's Premium Chicken sandwiches from 2008, Wendy's Cheesy Cheddarburger, Taco Bell's Ranchero Chicken Soft Taco, etc. Not the stuff everyone knows like the chili cheese burrito.

The old Angus Mushroom and Swiss buger from McDonalds. Not only was it a really big burger, they loaded it down with mayo. It was so fucking good. They always get rid of the good shit.

perhaps not the most obscure but the discontinued fast food item i miss the most is the pretzel bacon cheeeseburger from wendy's. this is not to be confused with the pub burger they have had as a seasonal item for the last few years, i'm talking about the original one from 2013 or 2014. it had some kind of fancier lettuce and a honey mustard sauce that was unbelievable.

Does anyone remember the Premium Chicken Sandwiches that McD's had for a while around like 2010-2011? Maybe earlier too? I really liked these. They had classic, club, and ranch kinds, and you could get it grilled or crispy. Like $5-6 at the time and it reminded me of what I'd get at like Chili's or Applebee's

I'm so annoyed. The only chicken items McD's has now are processed fried shit like the McNuggets or the McChicken. Nothing grilled. I used to get the Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich all the time. Or the grilled chicken snack wraps.

In fact I can't remember the last time I saw grilled chicken at any fast food place aside from Taco Bell if that counts.
