Here in mexico we have eaten them for millenia
grasshoppers, ant eggs and agave worms are pretty clean since they feed off the earth, the agave and the grass. I do find it disgusting when chinese eat roaches since they live in the sewer and eat shit. But the rest of the bugs we eat are pretty clean.
