Every year in my neighbourhood there are always children that try to go out for trick or treat, and every year they get jack because we don't celebrate Halloween.
Always felt bad seeing them walk up 8 flights of stairs to get btfo.
So I'll make some Caramel apples, if they want they can have them, if not I'll feed some of the neighbours I like and they can have some generic sweets from the store

That's good to hear, I figured it was gunna similar to this pumpkin sauce I got awhile back which I liked a lot. Have you tried any of the other sauces from the Dave's brand? I never get them because $9 is absurd for sauce but $5 is at least reasonable

For trick o treaters I usually pass out a bag of name brand shit like gummy krabby patties or those caramel apple suckers or mixed bag of snickers and shit. Kids with nut allergies can fuck off

The recipes I've read say nothing about cooking the pumpkin. You wouldn't cook the apple before putting it in cider would you? Another fun fact is pumpkin brewing originated in the US in 1771

I'd do Nigella's squid ink pasta for a main. A blood red borscht for a starter. A green sponge cake with a witch theme for afters. Marzipan witch fingers with sliced almonds for fingernails, liquorice spiders, candyfloss webs.

Watch spooky movies or animes. Go to local haunted houses or corn mazes or theme parks which usually start up in October. Go the pumpkin patch and decorate your house with pumpkins and gourds and candles.
