Hard to top Zotter. Not only is their chocolate top quality but they also have some very creative and unusual flavor combinations that I really appreciate.

The workhorse of the chocolate world is Barry Callebaut (great texture, flavor, and $/oz value), and if you are a rich bitch and wanna splurge Valhrona.

As far as cocoa powder is concerned brand matters a lot less because there are less steps in the finishing process and you're instead buying based whether your recipes are constructed for dutch processed or natural cocoa, and importantly make sure they are high-fat powders (1 gram of fat or more (instead of .5 grams such as with Hershey's) per tablespoon (5 to 6 gram) serving in the nutrition facts.

I use Cacao Barry Cocoa Powder Extra Brute recommended by Stella Parks on Serious Eats and it's awesome.

I've given their sampler sets as gifts to multiple people and they're always well received.

Support your local businesses
Side note, living within driving distance of a chocolate factory is pretty kino, since they will always have a stock of reject chocolates(always for aesthetic reasons) on sale for a quarter of the normal price, making sourcing affordable chocolate for cooking a piece of cake

Cocoa Powder : Van Houten
The Dutch have had that shit on lock since African colonial era. They got the best farms out there. You want good pure cocoa product, you look for dutch origin.

Now you want some consumer product like a chocolate bar, etc. It's all up to personal taste. Cocoa content, sugar, content, other ingredients and concentration levels.
But for the pure product of cocoa powder...You know where to look.

Don't have any at the moment, but its usually stuff like dragees that were underfilled in the mould, so they don't come out round or egg shaped, or bars that broke into pieces in the assembly etc

Here's an example pic from someone else on facebook. Note the plain labeling and lack of fancy packaging
