Either 1) learn how from YouTube, or 2) buy one of those easy knife sharpening V thingys

I hate Weissmann but his knife sharpening video is a good start

And buy a steel and learn how to use it

She’s cute. She has that sturdy Irish type of look that’s been selectively bred through generations of alcohol-fueled domestic violence. You just know you could really rough her up and she wouldn’t be bothered by it, to the point that she’d still have dinner on the table by 6 every day

Just buy some cheap whetstones (400/1000/2000 or whatever) and look up how to use them on YT

>> No.18309396

Lol, I have multiple whetstones, a ceramic roller type sharpener, a couple diamond "honing" things, and an expensive electric sharpener. The problem is that I'm always drunk so never do a good job. I finally broke down and drunkenly bought a $300 knife from a company that offers free factory sharpening for life. So yeah, it's pretty simple if you're not habitually drunk.

Anon.. that is clearly a completely generic far-left art hoe who at the very best has an associates degree in something useless like feminine studies or psychology and not the incel version of idealized trad-wife that’s making your pp hard right now

I use a Sharpmaker. It works good if I'm patient and take my time. If I try to rush it, then the knife just rolls in my hand and it blunts the edge again. Slow and steady with gentle pressure is the key. I tried using an oilstone first and couldn't get the technique down. So I think the price of the Sharpmaker was worth it to help me get started. And the best thing is it works on serrated knives.

In my kitchen, there's no culinary need for a super duper sharp knife. 95% of everything I cook is knife-free, and when I do use a knife, say to cut onions, a never sharpened 30 year old kmart tier knife does the job. Weird.

As long as you treat your knife somewhat decently a ceramic rod is all you'll need
