Yea fair enough. I got the berniner because it seems like it'll be long lasting as far as the sharpness of the blade goes. Might as well get soemthing thatll last and I plan on using mine for salads every day

Yeah exactly. I have heard mixed reviews that the julienne blades dont work great so im a little concerned because i want to make fries occasionally but i guess its not the end of the world if it sucks

Never much saw the point of these. I can squeeze a lemon or lime or orange pretty quickly and thoroughly without any juicer.

Thanks. It's unlikely I'll order one online but if I happen to see one in the shops, I'll buy it and give it a go. If it lives up to the hype, I'll keep it. I hate returning things I buy online.

My parents found a good Kitchen Aid mixer at a garage sale almost 20 years ago for cheap that still runs great. You should check around this weekend and see if you can do the same.

It's fun finding those deals, but you burn many visits to garage sales and goodwill before coming across each one. You can't expect to ever find a Kitchen Aid like that without living the second hand consoomer lifestyle.

not sexy at all, but an NSF rated steel shelf, pic related.
I got a Ninja Foodi nonstick pan and cutting board a few days ago too. I hate the Ninja brand, but their premium non-stick pan seems to be the best reviewed teflon pan out now, and it was on "sale"($40cnd)

I just melted my metal spatula's handle by leaving it a foot from a partially exposed burner. I need a new spatula which won't bitch out and melt or combust when exposed to mild heat. It preferably should also not give me third degree burns if I pick it up while it's spent 0.01 nanoseconds in indirect sunlight.

I assume a wooden handle is best, as long as it smoulders instead of spontaneously combusting. Am I correct in this assessment?

How the fuck do you eve use a combo mandoline with the blades that pop up. Every time I tried to julienne I made a big mess instead.
