Just had my first Gyro and didn't like it much. It was way too sweet for me.
What made it sweet? The Lamb? (Never had lamb) The bread? Or the sauce?

Lamb is just beef with more fat and less iron and zinc and the texture is more tender. They don’t taste that much different and if you like one you should like the other. The difference in taste isn’t as great as say beef vs chicken

In Australia about 90% of kebab stores have been hijacked by globalist capitalism and now they only serve this dog-food tier industrial spam that is most unpleasant.

I find that the best gyros are made out of pork. if you go to a place that doesn't offer pork gyros you should be suspicious that the owners are actually t*rks pretending to be greek.
