It was crap. I don't know if this brand just makes bad clotted cream but it was very runny and just poured off the scones. The taste itself wasn't nice either

I've gotten double devon here in the states but can't find authentic clotted. Double devon with some strawberry jam on some crackers or english muffin is fucking nice though so I am certain clotted is even better since the fat % is higher

Assuming you’re American op, put it on biscuits with jam/preserves of your choosing, I recommend strawberry or raspberry. I wouldn’t recommend putting it on warm biscuits either, let them sit out for a while so they firm up , just my preference

Scones and jam are basically the only thing anyone does with it, because it's such a perfect combination. You can have it with a pie too I guess. There are some recipes that use the clotted cream in cake batter, but if you've never tried it before just do the classic.
