In a sense yeah op is kinda right. The way you hear someone talk about Chick-fil-A before you've had it kinda sets you up for disappointment. They set it up like it's some holy experience, that my life would be changed forever.

It ain't that. It's by no means bad at all. As far as fast food chicken goes its great, but not really life altering. The one part I did end up obsessing about is their sig.sauce. especially since they started bottling it and selling at stores. Their sauce is always in my pantry now but I haven't been to a Chick-fil-A in like 5-6 months maybe longer.

This is the opposite of my experience. Any time I've been given the wrong order at Chick-fil-A, which has happened like three times in my whole life, they tell me to keep the wrong food, then make my correct order totally fresh, give me the original bag that was supposed to be for me if it happens to still be there on the counter, and put brownies and cookies in the bag for free on top of all that. I always walk away with one of their big plastic bags full of food and just give whatever I don't want to friends and family.

Last time I went there, I got a chicken strips, mac and cheese, and a shake. It cost $20--twenty. Twenty fuckin dollars. I could have gotten carry-out at a sushi restaurant or something else that was actually good. I thought we all understood that drive-through food was supposed to be cheap.
