it's more like a toasted cheese. I've done something similar before, it's pretty good but you cannot, in any way, pretend that is a grilled cheese. Grilled cheese = bread fried in some kind of fat (as opposed to toasted in a toaster or on a dry pan), cheese MELTED.

In the UK its called a cheese toastie. Similar to a grilled cheese but not quite the same since its usually sharp cheddar or some other cheese that doesn't melt well. Gordons sandwich is pretty nice looking cheese toastie and it probably tastes amazing however its an incredibly shitty grilled cheese
