These gigangtic 200ish gram shrimp I used to buy. Haven't seen them in years. I'd shell the tasty bitches, butterfly'em and either braise in butter or bread and fry as a schnitzel type thing. Either way, I ate it with a knife and fork, like a pork chop or steak. So. Fucking. Good.

Best one? Spot prawns on the west coast of the US. Used to buy them in live tanks at Chink owned seafood shops on the east side of Portland. Would buy a few pounds, then bring them home. Fire up the grill in the backyard, skewer them live tip to tail then quickly grill them, Quick drizzle of olive oil, squeeze of lemon, and a sprinkling of salt and they were out of this world delicious. Miss that shit to bits.

The best skrimp dish I've ever had was was at a local cafe that's now closed down, it was cajun skrimps with walnuts and green onion over grits. The cajun seasoning was a paste like seasoning that was similar to real jamaican jerk seasoning. Was definitely spicy enough me to have to take breaks every few bites but was still incredible
