Do you ever drink the hotel room coffee?

>> No.18219353

yup

>> No.18219360

no but i burned my hand and penis simultaneously by mixing syrup into a motel lobby's waffle maker

>> No.18219364

>>18219349
I make a point of drinking all the complimentary instant coffee. Though I fucking hate that style of kettle.

>> No.18219397

>>18219349
Those are for drastic measures only. Severe hangover and/or no coffee shop available in local proximity

>> No.18219404

>>18219364
>kettle
It's a coffee maker, not a kettle.

>> No.18219416

>>18219349
Fuck no. Not unless I brought my own coffee pot and that's psycho shit.
I used to work in hotels. Housekeeping is horrible about cleaning the coffee makers in rooms. If they clean anything at all, it's just a quick rinse of the pot. I worked front desk and had a guest bring me their coffee pot and the housekeepers didn't open it up to check it and the old grounds from the last guest were still in it, rotting.

>> No.18219419

I am always afraid someone peed in the coffee maker

>> No.18219420

>>18219416
Samefagging to add that they wipe it down with the same rags they wipe the bathroom counter and fixtures with.

>> No.18219425

>>18219416
>>18219420
Just clean it out yourself, lazy bones.

>> No.18219439

>>18219425
I shouldn't have to. I'll just get my coffee from the lobby because I know it's the front desk worker's job, and they actually keep it clean.

>> No.18219445

>>18219404
Huh, it looked like a model of single cup kettle I keep seeing in hotels these days. It usually comes with instructions telling you not to put the coffee or tea into it, only water. I guess it was in response to people like: >>18219416 or just as a more stylish alternative to normal kettles.

>> No.18219452

>>18219419
Oh fuck cannot unsee

>> No.18219481

>>18219445
That sign was probably for retards putting coffee and tea in the rear water reservoir. You can see those white tabs at the front, that's the coffee filter.

>> No.18219490

>>18219349
the first time I ever stayed at a hotel my dad told me never to use the coffee pot because someone 100% pissed in it
I won't even use the ones in the op because someone probably found a way to piss in it

>> No.18219501

>>18219481
Didn't notice. The model I'm thinking of lacks a compartment for coffee or a filter.

>> No.18220003

You god damn better believe it.

>> No.18220090

>>18219349
hell nah. as someone who worked in hotels i dont use anything. i even bring my own sheets

>> No.18220750

>>18219349
Coffee maker is a good place to wash a pair of socks or underwear. Drops of shampoo and boiling hot water. Convenient too

>> No.18220816

nah, wanted to, but i couldn't figure out how to operate those damn machines. the little whole punch thingy and the cups? fucking single use plastic dog, nah.

>> No.18220836

>>18219419
I always pee in it, and also on the beds.

>> No.18222366

>>18219349
Not since I found out people sometimes wash their underwear in the provided kettle.

>> No.18222381

Are you me?

>> No.18222384

Pretty common around here (seattle area) that you use coffee tea bags, use a electric kettle to boil water.

>> No.18223474

>being able to afford hotels
mr moneybags over here

>> No.18223682

>>18219349
I take everything the hotel offers. Soaps, coffee, shampoo, even the towels.

>> No.18223697

>>18219420
That's highly dependent on the hotel and staffing. I worked as housekeeping supervisor in college and we trained our housekeepers to clean the toilet first with a rag, then put it in with the other dirty rags and switch to a clean rag. It's common sense. These were all Hispanic ladies who were great at cleaning though. My best friend is general manager of a hotel in SC and all the housekeeping is black down there, and apparently they are horrible.l and lazy so I can definitely see them doing shit like that.

>> No.18223718

>>18223697
But did they wash their hands after handling the toilet rag? You'd think the toilet would be the last thing you'd want to touch.

>> No.18224200

>>18223718
>what are gloves?

>> No.18224388

>>18224200
Things that can collect grime and germs if you don't switch them out or wash them off after cleaning the toilet, you numbskull.
