If you enjoy alcohol in moderation you don't need even a whole 6 pack to catch a buzz. The Killians I posted is only like $10 bucks for a 6 pack. For someone who only drinks a couple times a month, (because I'm not an alcoholic) that's no big expense at all. You know you don't have to finish every beer the night you buy it right? Normal people don't consider the amount of beer got per $, that's an addict's way of thinking. You know what factors I consider when selecting a brew? Listed flavor profile, abv, ibu, sometimes even packaging but rarely ever price, unless I see something ridiculous like a $50 6pk or something.

I find most 6 packs hover around that price still. Some like 3floyds or Elysian are more like 12 or 13 but again, for a once or twice a month purchase it still ends up cheaper than buying a 6pk of Busch everyday like I see so many do.

pbr used to be the 12pack for $10 out the door
then prices started rising and it was a deal to find the 12pack for $12 'otd'
and then they started charging $12+ tax/crv for a 12er of pabts
I recently went for a box of pabts and it was $17.50

15packs of keystone light can still be found for $8.99 +tax/crv
i find keystone light to be somewhat crisp and refreshing
heiniken is great, but im not spending $20+ on a dozen beers
