I am convinced they changed the recipe for their pan pizzas. When I was a kid doing the Book It program their mini pan pizzas were absolutely amazing. Same with the regular pan pizzas. Now they taste like garbage compared to what they were. Maybe that’s nostalgia talking but I don’t think so.

I am convinced of this too. As a kid I remember the crust being greasy as all get out, but in a way like Jet's is now. This would have been the late 80's to early 90's. In the mid 90's I had a friend that worked there that said the fresh dough just sat in the grease all day which gave it that crust, I'm convinced efficiency and the switch to frozen dough changed that as well as them trying not to be the place with "greasy pizza". I don't know if the other anons in this thread had it in the 80's or 90's.
