I don’t give a fuck that it’s an adjunct lager.
If I were only allowed to drink 1 beer for the rest of my life, it would be Orion.
I don’t know of a more refreshing beer when it’s hot/humid as fuck.
Even in Japan, you’ll never find it on tap unless you go to a restaurant/izakaya that specializes in Okinawan food, or live in Okinawa (fuck that shit).

But it’s really not worth it outside Japan because of how expensive it is, if you can even find it. When I see it in the US it’s like $18 for a six pack.
Even in Japan it’s more expensive than the other 3 on the store shelf because it has to be “imported” from Okinawa. It would be like a Hawaiian beer in mainland US.

economies of scale are real. doesn't mean they always make the best beer, but the brewpub down the street is not going to produce a beer that competes with Coors Light

That stuff is really good, but pic related for me. It ain't expensive, I see it almost everywhere, and in the heat it's unbeatable.

had a porter the other day for the first time, shit is cash on the taste department for sure, the dude went ahead and told me the whole history about it, it seems it was the leftovers beer they brewed at the port from all the malts (and whatever it might have been), so it was cheap and light in alcohol content

>> No.18214787

I've had it like 2 or 3 times, first times it was off the charts good, the other 2 was mediocre/bad, so I'm really confused with this one

Man. I don't think I ever tried a Lambic wild-yeast type beer. Must be nice...
It's almost as bad for me, but if you're buying limited supply good stuff I guess it's worth

Honestly, right now it's my brother's Hafeweizen. Delicious, perfect for the heat season. I don't know anything about the production process so don't bother asking.
He has made some nice AIPAs and Stouts as well

Somewhere with bad access to real specialty beers sadly. It's the same for real Cider. Sucks

That's beer, not kvass. Yes, you can easily make 5% ABV kvass in the era of cheap white sugar, but beer is not kvass.

I'm not gonna turn down a free Bud, but it's not even in the top 5 American macrolagers. Every once in a while we buy some to larp as boomers, but it can't even compete with the old American pisswater brands that get passed around Inbev like Pokemon cards.

It's cute they think the trannies buying this stuff (for the hops) need the name sounded out.

Too depressing since the glass-lined tanks of Old Latrobe are no more, now it's just another label for soulless InBev micturition.

You'll need something a lot stronger than Rolling Rock to put up with Mega-incel Mike for the last decade. Allegedly James has been huffing the fumes from burning old GI Joe figures with a magnifying glass under the sun.

That's a generous description imo
The current incarnation of newkie brown barely resembles a brown ale, it legitimately tastes like a weak macrolager that someone dissolved some coins in
