Ironically this. You can even got a local restaurant supply store and they have various sizes, from dew drop 8oz to child size 64oz. I prefer the 32oz because its just right if you fill it with ice cubes, gives you 16oz of water.

Just buy double of what you need since you are going to break most of them anyway. I now have a weird mixture of different glasses that i can't even stack.

If you can find them and don't mind the horrifically inflated price tag on them these days (€/£/$5 each fucking one), IKEA's discontinued vänlig glasses, particularly the large ones made in Italy, are my favourite everyday drinkware. Also, vänlig means "friendly" in Swedish.

duralex picardie. They're made in France so you don't have to worry about Chinese heavy metals leeching into your drinks and they're inexpensive, come in a variety of sizes, made of shatter resistant glass, and comfortable to hold. Plus you can larp as a Frenchie before all of Paris became nigger and sandnigger central.

I only use glasses for beer or cold tea anymore, or if people are over

Not necessarily any specific brand, but these things keep your water cold as fuck if you do quater to half ice so you can just keep sippin and always have it chilled. Very worth even if you don't actually take them on hikes imo. I drink like 3 a day.

Water goblets.
Sophisticated enough for a fancy dinner but utilitarian enough for everyday use. Grabbing it by the stem prevents unwanted heating of the drink by your hand.

Not easy to find stock but the 15oz IKEA 365+ glass is king in my opinion. Tempered glass so it can handle hot beverages, thick so harder to break, big enough to be a good cold beverage glass, price is pretty reasonable.

I grew up with a white trash family that had a bunch of mismatched cups, dishes and silverware. Promotional McDonald's glasses. All knives were serrated. Everything was dull never sharpened.

Now all of my dishware is plain white ceramic or clear glass. My silverware is all plain and matching and I own decent knives.

It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.
