I took a card from my friend. I shop there for things I use a lot that are slow to expire. 30 bucks for a 50lb bag of onions. 25 for 15 dozen eggs. Meat section is cool for bulk. Cookware is prograde. Cases of canned tomatoes.
It's very worth it. Don't go buying anything that perishes easily I you won't use it all.

It's worthless unless you're able to work through large quantities of bulk ingredients. Look for similar chains that offer specialty fruit/veg/spices/vinegars/oils in small quantities.

if you have one in your area and are looking for the type of equipment you'd normally find in a restaurant or want bulk meat and veggies yeah check em out.

you don't have to be a member or have the card to buy from the one local to me. i simply walk in and tell them i need a temporary card for <restaurant name up the street>. it helps that i know the owner's name, but i don't know him. they may not even ask any details at all. you can just tell them you've never met the owner, you were just sent there for tomatoes or something. they hand me a piece of paper and i hand it right back to them after im finishing buying whatever i want.
