It was Americans who finally developed the technology to replace disgusting, unethical meat with profitable, politically-correct photosyntheslop as a holdover until the Big Bug's infrastructure has been fully developed.

I’d gladly eat that, not sure I’d call it a boigah. looks like something from nihon/the orient, oddly mostly on account of the corn which is ironic considering that’s new world foodstuff. Also not sure what an egg adds to the experience; I eat many eggs but am not often wanting to add them to other proteins, but again I’d eat.

As to op, I’m curious why you assert boigahs were invented in Deutschland deutschland über alles?

It's the German hamburger. Hamburg steak. Actually that's American too, we used premium meat and served it raw on the inside in the beginning. The German dish is named "Frika-something". The Japanese of course have their own sauce for it and it it more than we do now (and cook it well-done).

I just can't do photosyntheslop. I tried but it doesn't work for me. I've come to terms with animals suffering for my enjoyment.

As a kid I thought it was called a hamburger because the meat was ham, and burger was just a generic name for the shape of the food. This belief was strengthened by the existence of the word "cheeseburger".
It never occurred to me that it was from a place called Hamburg.
