i just learnt that i shouldn't eat more than 1 or 2 cans of tuna or sardines a week because they're full of arsenic and mercure, why didn't you tell me that ck?

why would you eat either of those things at all?
they taste bad.

Literally every thread about canned tuna has posts about mercury

Sometimes my body just craves sardines, i don't know why. Maybe the little fish contain nutrients that my body lacks at the time. but after one can, I have had enough for two weeks. After which the cravings usually come back.

>why didn't you tell me that ck?
because it's common knowledge? it's not our job to hold your hand as you somehow manage to bumble through life without eating silica gel packets or choking on kinder surprise toys.
put your helmet on and go walk into oncoming traffic, you'll be doing the world a favor

dunno about the arsenic, but yes on the mercury. This is an older apex level fish that ate other fish at the same level, a fish who ate 1000s of other fish in theri lifetime, so the heavy metals do accumulate.

Mix it up, you sholdn't be eating the same things day after day, anyway. Go online and find out what fishies are sustainable, not threatened, first of all, and then rank by mercury and do some good in the world and for yourself.

I enjoy some clams, frozen breaded strips or stuffed clams, and enjoy with simple lemon wedges or whip up your own cocktail and tartar sauces. Good use of those top slilced hot dog buns esp if butter toasted.
Snow crab is sustainable, and almost all crab is pretty free of toxins. Seasonally, it's the season right now for getting some steamed blue crab, or buying the meat already picked, and it's a breeze to bind it and pan fry on each side. Same for salmon, which is a fish with like only 1 year on this earth before spawning. It has a lot of flavor, which might not be what you want, but you can make cakes with them. No merc. When it's the season, it's easymode to get some crawfish shipped to you.

Sardines are one of the safest oceanic fish to eat since they're small and low on the food chain. Toxins don't accumulate in their meat like it does in larger fish. There's a millionaire guy who has eaten five cans of deenz per day for years, and is in perfect health.

Because if you could eat it every day it would be too easy to stop being fat and god doesn't want being skinny to be too easy.
