Not sure if it counts, but it's a great brandy. Also, since Armenia is in danger of being wiped off the map, I encourage everyone to try it sooner rather than later.

What date does this happen again? I bought Calvados after accidentally catching the last one and need to write the date down on a sticky note so I don't forget.

Krupnikas is good! The American made ones are better than the Lithuanian/Polish versions, real honey and not as spiced.

There is a manufacturer Vintage Distilling that makes one that makes a real smooth Honey Vodka, and won some awards.

A few weeks ago I followed a recipe given by my co-worker.
>750g+ cherries without pits (I took about a kilo)
>1kg sugar (I used brown)
>1L water
>1 bottle of Stroh Rum 80%
Going to bottle it sunday or so.
My co-worker said it's good with coke or as grog. Straight it's been described as brain glue.

I hope it'll be good

Recommend me some good calvados. Bought pic related for cooking and i like the taste. 19 € for an x.o. seems pretty fair too. The apple flavour is still kinda strong.

Not sure if it's exported to America or the UK, but it's a great aperitif.

As a rule, I steer away from the extremely expensive examples of spirits, just in case I like them.
