Alcohol is pretty bad. I will say though that the best beers in the world are dark thick creamy stouts. If they could make those exactly the same but alcohol free and usda organic, I would drink that just because of the flavor and whatever nutrition it may have. Nice cold beer but no hangover and no harmful effects of alcohol.

I think most beer tastes like carbonated dog piss, and the only real true beer are dark stouts. I love the flavor and smell and texture of dark stouts, but the only thing I don't like is alcohol. If it was exactly the same but contained no alcohol it would be perfect. Seriously alcohol is a piece of shit and it does nothing but harm.I think most alcohol free beers out there probably are not that great, but I feel like there is huge potential for an organic alcohol free dark stout.

>> No.18131733

>>18131633

I understand and agree but beer is an alcohol beverage, alcohol is what makes it beer, and if you manage to make a "dark stout" alcohol free it will be anything but beer, and probably shit. It's like vegans wanting sausages without meat it doesn't make sense, do I ask for carrots without carrot? Fucking no because it's stupid. Eat and drink what you like and don't ask for stupid shits.

It depends on the beer. Some beers are designed to be drunk over a session in large quantities, in comparison to something like a barleywine which you enjoy more slowly.
imo 4-6% is the optimal zone for session beers but there are definitely exceptions.

It has cognitive benefits if you have very, very little. Like just a couple swigs off a beer, maybe 1/4th a glass. The nice thing about homebrewing with kegs is being able to drink like that, without having a whole can getting warm.

And obviously it has some social benefits. But being anything passed mildly buzzed is strictly harmful, imo.

Hey tard, alcohol is only like 5% of beer. They’ve figured out ways to make it nearly indistinguishable because most of it isn’t even alcohol
