tootsie rolls are some of the WORST candy I have ever tasted in my entire life. It always ruined my day every single time someone tried to give me one. People offered me these things all the time because they had awful taste and thought they were good, or had good taste and couldn't possibly get rid of them fast enough.

in my opinion these things tasted like someone tried to intentionally made fake chocolate mixed with poop and taffy. I always wondered "WHY DID SOMEONE CREATE THIS?" I will never understand how these got approved. It will NEVER make sense to me. Someone INVENTED THIS, then they KEPT ON MAKING THEM FOR YEARS. even worse, in 2022 they STILL EXIST. tootsie rolls are the main reason why I believe we are in a simulation. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY SOMETHING SO AWFUL COULD EXIST AND YET THEY JUST KEEP MAKING IT EVERY FUCKING DAY, FOREVER AND EVER.

I will never get over the trauma and the disappointment of my first time ever putting a tootsie roll in my mouth. The only thing more disappointing was when they started sneaking these little fuckers into the center of lollipops instead of bubblegum. BUBBLEGUM WAS GOOD ENOUGH, IT WASN'T EVEN GOOD GUM, BUT IT WASN'T A TOOTSIE ROLL. I remember one day the tootsie pops showed up and the bubblegum center pops disappeared and never returned. Never saw one in years ever since. I remember licking the pop and thinking "wow this is some nice flavor, and then reaching the center and having my mouth INVADED, VIOLATED, WRONGED ON AN INDESCRIBABLE LEVEL, by the sudden tojan horse of the abhorrent flavor of tootsie roll. The fruity flavor completely obliterated and overshadowed by this wrong WRONG thing that shouldn't be there.

Why in the name of God can tootsie rolls justify existing in a world where chocolate already exists? Every option is better than a tootsie roll. I wonder if that's what all the weird sticky black marks on movie theater chairs are?
