wouldnt say most of them are "insane" or close to it, they really just average to be poor alpha males, opportunistic dropouts with only short-term thinking ability. Many of them will seem like good ol boys who just had bad luck, but you know they did some egregious shit. On average they are probably less insane than the average woman. If it was self-defense, the caliber wouldn't determine your guilt. Assuming the firearm was legally owned by you and you were permitted to carry them in the situation, the caliber doesn't matter. So either you used an illegal gun, the situation wasn't self defense at all, or both.
