Really it is the amount of watery shit that you put on your pizza, at some point it is beyond drenched and can not be saved anymore. Just take your wet ingredients for a spin in the salad spinner. You can make the sauce out of that liquid. For example pineapple.

There's no number that can answer that. Any number can work, as long as the toppings don't contradict each other.
Cheese contradicts all other toppings: when I get a pizza I typically get nearly all the toppings, and no cheese.
