Crickets can be pretty filthy but depends how they're raised I suppose. Parasites wouldn't really be a big issue because they're crickets. Not like there's going to be a tapeworm hidden in there lmao. I feel like outside of very gimmicky foods though most cricket protein is just ground up into flours and meals, so you'd have a rough time even knowing what it was.

Still, relatively filthy creatures. I'd rather eat things like dubia roaches and grubworms and shit if I'm being honest. I know there is a type of maggot cheese that was fairly interesting I always wanted to at least taste since it is supposed to be very high taste gourmet shit, very hard to get.
