Yeah that place is pretty decent too. Had it for the first time like a month ago and was impressed with the number of onion rings I got. Places usually skimp on those.
Kind of hard to compare the two though, since one is a chicken place and the other a beef place. Honestly I'd say just about every chicken joint i've been to is overrated. Zaxby's and Raising Canes where also mediocre at best.

That being said, no reason to judge someone being in a FF place without knowing why.

Waffle fries are the superior fry in terms of surface area to volume ratio. Would prefer they were a little crispier tho and they don't pack into the carton well so it's kinda skimpy.

What is this meme.. if I anything I feel sad for chik fil a employees. Not only do they have to deal with the typicall drudgery of minimum wage service jobs they're now expected to put on this fake ass veneer of being happy and enjoying working there. I've essentially never encountered a truly rude person working in service - being on the other side of the fence though, it's not hard to find with customers. Most are fine, nice even, but the entitled Karens truly exist. Hell one of my own family is that person (my dad). Maybe because I live in a generally more affluent region I don't find chik fil a to be exceptional at all experience wise. Anyways who the hell is dining in? If you have a drive through experience, a lot of that presentation and customer facing bullshit goes out the window.

I say this with all sincerity, Chik-fil-a is kinda mid actually. Their chicken alone does not carry them at all. Take their "iconic" chicken sandwhich and honestly price to satisfaction it's not even up there with the McChicken, and don't get me started with Popeyes or Shake Shack. Their offerings absolutely mog Chik-fil-a. It's only the getting the whole meal does the Chik-fil-a experience really satisfy, with a side of mac and cheese and some lemonade to drink.

Okay, not great. Due to mainly serving boneless breast meat either as sandwiches or as nuggets, it's hard to really be wowed. Personally think they maintain a reputation due to consistent quality and service which is also how I feel about In-N-Out.
>Popeyes
Of two locations I live near, one is mediocre to great and the other is consistently great and they're only like 15 minutes away from each other. It's really a matter of who manages each individual franchise that matters. What puts it above other chicken places for me are the cajun fries and shrimp.
>KFC
American management went to the shitter over the years and extremely little attempt was made to keep up quality. Have seen multiple KFCs go to shit over the years, but they've been doing better lately. The most extreme range of quality. Top tier service/quality in any country besides America, but that's every American fast food franchise.
>Cane's
Completely plain, thin, and unremarkable tenders. Standard crinkle cut fries I can get from a grocery store from which I can also get better toast. While I can understand the hype for other places, I have no idea what people see in them besides possibly the sauce, however every place has sauce. I've had tenders from non-fast food restaurants like McDonalds(I honestly miss their tenders) and Carl's Jr which had more taste.

Chicken was plainer/saltier due to less use of spices compared to the more Cajun franchises, but not bad. Nice biscuits though.
>Jollibee
Pretty great, but expensive. The chicken was just cooked great, but not to the point it became my favorite or anything. Adobo rice felt meh, but fries were very fresh and crisp.

Of all the places people hype, it's really only Cane's that confuses me. Maybe I'll try it again at a newer location that I saw open recently.
