they taste better that's for sure
the yolk is more yolky, I don't really know how to describe it

Quail eggs are like normal eggs just smaller. There's not really a huge taste difference to be honest.

Same impression. They're not worth the extra work involved.

Tempted to finally try them. What's their killer feature?

I taste zero difference between them and chicken eggs.
They’re useful where a mini-egg would be useful. Especially boiled; you can just throw a few on top of a salad inside of slicing a big one. Or if you want an egg on a skewer.

>smaller
>more expensive
>taste the exact same
I'll stick with my battery cage chicken eggs, thanks.

One egg is equal to 2 chicken eggs, the taste is similar to chicken eggs. It's hard to describe the subtle taste difference in words, but you can absolutely tell they're not the same kind of egg. Pic is an omelette I made with 1 well beaten duck egg and a small splash of cold water mixed in

not really. they're significantly more of a pain in the ass to open without breaking the yolk though

I want to try some duck eggs. If I come across some, I'm going to get them.

thats why you're supposed to buy jars of pickled quail eggs, tastier and no peeling required

Better to eat raw if you're an American. I beat a bunch into rice for a cheap weeb meal
