Potato chips consist of basically only fat and carbs. Same thing with chocolate, cookies, cake. If you actually looked at the nutrition labels, you would see that most of these foods are indeed high in both carbs and fat and that combination is what makes them addictive (in addition to salt and flavor enhancers). On the other hand most of the foods listed as "non-addictive" only consist of carbs or a combination of high protein and fat.
