The creamy part is the egg job, the egg in the carbonare should not be cooked to solidify, you "scoli" the pasta in the zucchine sauce the add the egg and parmigiano and you mix whit the fire off. It's ready.
The egg and parmigiano melt and cook whit the pasta eat.
Creamy is for nigger that can't cook.

I haven't really cooked a proper home meal in about 3 months. I'm in my new house now with enough to survive but the house is basically still empty. Fridge and general kitchen appliances finally get moved in on mondee. I can't jeffing wait to start cooking again after this whole ordeal.

yes, and cooks the eggs. You just prepare a mixture of eggs (technically you should use more yolks than white but who cares), grated parmigiano and some pepper. After throwing the pasta on your pan, making it absorb the guanciale fat, you just turn off the stove and put your mixture on the pasta, mixing it up quickly.
You could also do this process on a bowl, by adding LITTLE BY LITTLE some pasta water until you get the consistency you want. The same technique applies to cacio e Pepe
