Made some instant today. I tried to find in store and online the creamy chicken Maruchan ramen but I don't think we even have it here. This was nice though, curry flavoured and the noodles were a really good texture. Any recommendations for what vegetables I should try adding next time?

instant cold noodles, basically cook it like you would migoreng but rinse it in cold water, then mix in the spicy sauce packet. I'm sure the concept may be new to some people but it's delicious. There's also zaru soba but I don't think an instant version exists so this is probably it for "instant cold ramen" if you're feeling like putting in more effort, chop some cucumbers, and recreate the image on the packet. The authentic dish is obviously way better but not everyone lives near koreans

I've never had a real bowl of ramen due to finding out early on that it's made from pork bones and has pork "chashu" in it. For the instant ones, I like Shin black in the plastic bowl not the cardboard one.

What I really recomend is either chicken flavoured maggi or yumsu chicken.

Besides normal ones, we have these around here. They come in a set of 4 each package, without the seasoning. They are also not pre-fried. That means they take longer to cook (5 min) to be as soft as normal ones.
I love them because I can get them more al dente, while using my own broth.
I can even use my stock and throw in a curry cube for a curry lamen.

Still buying that Shin Red, adding 1 1/3 cups of water, letting the vegetal pack when it simmers, adding the flavor and noodles when it boils and setting the timer for 4 minutes 30. Stir it after 2 minutes, stir once more with about 40 seconds left. Let sit in bowl to absorb all the soup.
Tried with egg and didn't like so I will just enjoy the sticky noodle texture as is.

today i made nongshim a little bit differently by adding onions and garlic in there the way this post suggested and it came out the most delicious i've ever had it. might have helped that i fried it in the pan a little bit to combine with the aromatics before reintroducing it to the broth. was killer, making it this way from now on.

I'm a poorfag and I don't mind microwaving my noodles at home, but I don't have a microwave at work and I'm not going to buy a fucking microwave just to take to work to cook noodles with.
