More importantly, there is a Popeye's opening up within 5 miles of where I live, should I be concerned about the type of folk that eat there?

You reach ghetto-hood status when it's a Church's going into the block, which by the way is the best of the 3 choices. They have awesome fried okra and honey biscuits. Popeye's just means you have breakfast/hospital workers/ nursing homes/commuters going by in close proximity.

Watching the quality of fast food chicken places drop desperately in the past year and a half has really sucked. Had a chickfila, zaxbys, and bojangles near me all shit the bed in quality when they used to be really good to the point even strangers go "oh yeah those places got shitty" if they come up. Why are thigh pieces the oiliest shit in the world? They unironically disgust me with all the grease-soaked gunk everywhere inside the whole thing, there's barely any clean meat to be had. My ideal fried chicken would have every other piece broasted while the thighs just get grilled.
