i railed for years against air fryers. i thought they were a dumb gimmick to sell retards yet another kitchen gadget that would spend 99% of it's life in a cabinet collecting dust. i was wrong. i finally caved last year and bought one to try it for myself and it's become one of my most used kitchen appliances. i cook a lot of things in it and i'm not talking about reheating frozen french fries. potatoes, chicken, broccolini, you name it.

The food is like 4 inches away from a great big metal fan and heating element, wtf did you expect.

They're great for some stuff. But sensitive stuff like baking a quiche will just get a burned surface
