The best ramen in my city (Brisbane) is from a restaurant called Genkotsu where they do a soft shell crab ramen that has a whole, fried crab in it. They also have the option for a fish broth which tastes like smoky bonito. Their standard tonkotsu with black garlic is great, but the fish broth matches perfectly with the fried soft shell crab. They also have an unagi ramen with a large piece of grilled eel but I haven't tried it yet. They aren't licenced so you can't get a beer there which sucks a bit but the ramen in worth it. There's a pub nearby to have a beer afterwards anyway.

The broth was the thickest and fattiest I'd ever had, and you could choose to have an extra thick cut of smoked charshu added in. I tend to go for the slightly fresher stuff in the refrigerated section if I really need a not as cheap fix. Add in your own tea eggs and seaweed+meat and it's great. My only issue is how wildly the quality can vary between brands. I've had some "miso" ramen packs that taste like absolute horseshit while others are much more passable. I recommend investing in the fat pack of miso paste from the fridge section. They're sometimes near the fridge noodles but sometimes in a different area.
Fair warning: if you're like me it'll go bad before you get halfway through but price wise its a lot cheaper and tastes way better than any of the miso powders or cartons of miso soup.
Also as a weird note it works surprisingly well as a condiment on a beef or turkey burger.
