if you're that much a fuck up maybe try a fish that you can poach or bake? Haddock's an easy one, get a smoked fillet of Haddock, put it on a sheet of baking paper, put a knob of butter on top and bang it in the oven at 180C for 20 mins or so.

It's basically impossible to fuck it up.
