I work at a bakery that specializes in bagels. Poppy > everything > sesame. Customers ask for onion, asiago, garlic, and a bunch of shit taste americashit. Seeds are the only valid topping on a bagel and the only thing we have. Veggie cream cheese of course.

I love bagels so much. Plain, everything, sesame, or poppy with a flavored cream cheese, or even just whipped plain cream cheese. A plain bagel with plain cream cheese with a bit of hot sauce on it is delicious. Adding freshly cracked black pepper to the top of cream cheese is probably better than hot sauce. If you want bread but also something sweet, cinnamon raisin bagels with strawberry cream cheese.

The Jew may be the single most contemptible being in existence. That being said, bagels are dope af frfr 100.

I don't like bagels, and dislike cream cheese more-so. I like heavily fermented sourdough breads, as they offer a pleasant variety of complex flavor profiles and are easily digested. Cream cheese is nutritionally poverse and calorically dense compared to alternatives, and often carries a plain flavor profile. I would prefer to have a good blue like Danablu (my favorite) either on or alongside a toasted sourdough. I suppose I can see why people like bagels, but they're not satiating.
